CHAIRMAN

SUGATHAN JANARDHANAN

Mr. Sugathan Janardhanan hails from Trivandrum. He began his career in Mumbai and, after gaining valuable experience, moved to Dubai 40 years ago to join a furniture manufacturing company. Leveraging strong business insight and a quick understanding of the industry, he developed deep expertise in furniture manufacturing. In 1991, he founded a small upholstery unit in Ajman, which marked the start of a global enterprise. Today, his Royal Palace Group boasts an annual turnover of approximately USD 100 million, exporting products to over 40 countries. His expansion plans took him to China, where he leveraged access to raw materials and skilled labour to support his manufacturing operations. In 1998, he expanded to India by setting up factories in Trivandrum (Kerala) and Tenkasi (Tamil Nadu). Products under the brand “Indroyal” are sold through the company’s own outlets and a wide dealer network. Beyond furniture, Mr. Sugathan Janardhanan has diversified into hospitality, property developing and agriculture farming.

Twenty-eight years ago, when we started, Indian furniture industry was predominantly carpentry based. We were the pioneer in bringing comfortable and aesthetically appealing sofas and other furniture into south India. We are extremely proud to say indroyal brought global furniture trends to this region, it was all possible because of our international presence with manufacturing facilities at different countries and our exports to more than 40 countries.

Adarsh Chandran

Chief Technical Officer - (CTO)

Mr. Adarsh Chandran is the Chief Technical Officer, overseeing factory operations, production, and R&D. He holds dual master’s degrees in engineering, (Manufacturing and Quality Management) from RMIT University in Melbourne. He has over 20 years of international experience across Australia, China, Indonesia, India and he brings deep expertise in furniture production, technology integration, design, and quality control. His global perspective and strategic insight continue to drive innovation and excellence in technical operations.

Rajesh P R

Chief Marketing Officer - (CMO)

Rajesh P.R is the Chief Marketing Officer of Indroyal Home spaces with over 30 years of rich experience in modern retail and trade industries. A strategic leader with deep market insight, and with experience working with some of the national brands, he has been instrumental in driving brand growth, customer engagement and innovative marketing initiatives. He holds a master’s degree in management with specialisation in Foreign Trade which brings a result-oriented approach to the organization’s sales, marketing strategy and execution.

Biju Prasad

Chief Compliance Officer - (CCO)

Biju Prasad is the Chief Compliance Officer and Finance Controller at Indroyal Furniture Co.(P)Ltd. He has over 30 years of experience in finance, taxation, costing, legal compliance and he has held senior roles across manufacturing, wood processing, chemicals, and corporate services. He holds an MBA in Finance, degrees in Law and Science, and certifications in RERA, CSR, and UAE Taxation from ICSI. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Tax Practitioners, All India Federation of Tax Practitioners, and the Indian Management Association.
